Tom T. Hall (1938-2021) è stato un cantautore e scrittore statunitense di grande successo nel genere country. Nato a Olive Hill, Kentucky, Hall ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '60 come musicista di supporto per diversi artisti prima di emergere come artista solista con il suo album d'esordio "The Story of Tom T. Hall" (1970). Hall è noto per le sue canzoni narrative e realiste che spesso esploravano temi sociali e rurali, guadagnandosi l'appellativo di "Storyteller of Country Music".
