Stavesacre est un groupe de rock chrétien américain originaire de Huntington Beach, en Californie. Formé en 1995, le groupe se compose du fondateur, leader et auteur-compositeur Mark Salomon, des guitaristes Jeff Bellew et Ryan Dennee, du bassiste Dirk Lemmenes et du batteur Sam West. Stavesacre se distingue par son son qui fusionne des éléments de rock alternatif, post-grunge et emo, avec des paroles souvent introspectives et spirituelles. Le groupe a sorti plusieurs albums au cours de sa carrière, notamment "The Light" (2001), "A Place for the Lost" (2003) et "The End of All Things" (2006). Parmi les morceaux les plus représentatifs de Stavesacre figurent "The Sound of Silence", "This Is My Life" et "I Am Not Alone".

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
