Billy Bragg è un cantautore, chitarrista e attivista britannico nato a Barking, Essex, nel 1957. La sua musica combina elementi folk, punk e soul con tematiche politiche e sociali nei testi, assimilabile alla tradizione della canzone di protesta. Bragg ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '80, influenzato da artisti come Woody Guthrie e Bob Dylan. Il suo stile diretto e le sue canzoni incisive hanno conquistato un pubblico ampio e lo hanno consacrato come uno dei più importanti cantautori britannici. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
