Jimmy Ruffin (nato il 7 maggio 1939) è un cantante soul americano, fratello maggiore del compianto David Ruffin dei The Temptations. Ha ottenuto diversi successi tra gli anni '60 e '80, il più famoso dei quali è stato "What Becomes of the Brokenhearted". Ruffin ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '50 con un gruppo locale chiamato The Primes. Nel 1966 ha firmato per la casa discografica Soul Records e ha pubblicato il suo primo album, "The Jimmy Ruffin Album". Il suo successo più grande è arrivato nel 1969 con il singolo "What Becomes of the Brokenhearted", che ha raggiunto la posizione numero uno nella classifica Billboard Hot 100.
