Manfred Mann's Earth Band è un gruppo musicale britannico formatosi a Londra nel 1970. Ebbe origine dalle ceneri del precedente gruppo di Manfred Mann, ma adottò uno stile musicale diverso, passando dal pop ad un sound jazzato e prog-rock. Il loro debutto omonimo risale al 1972, ma il successo arrivò nel 1977 con "Blinded by the Light", una cover del brano di Bruce Springsteen del 1973. I brani reinterpretati da altri artisti sono un elemento ricorrente nella discografia della band, presenti anche nei loro album fondamentali degli anni '70 come *Nightingales and Bombers*, *The Roaring Silence* e *Watch*.
