Jim Capaldi (1940-2005) è stato un cantautore, musicista e produttore discografico britannico. Noto per il suo lavoro con la band progressive rock Traffic, di cui era uno dei membri fondatori, Capaldi ha contribuito a definire l'identità musicale del gruppo con le sue melodie orecchiabili e testi introspettivi. Nato Nicola James Capaldi, adottò lo pseudonimo Jim durante la sua carriera musicale.
