Joe Strummer, pseudonimo di John Graham Mellor (1952-2002), è stato un cantautore, chitarrista e attivista britannico. Noto per essere il frontman dei The Clash, una delle band punk più influenti della storia musicale. Nato a Ankara, in Turchia, da genitori inglesi, Strummer trascorse la sua infanzia tra Londra e l'Europa continentale. Influenzato dal rock 'n' roll americano e dalla musica folk britannica, iniziò a suonare la chitarra all'età di 15 anni. Nel 1976 fondò i The Clash con Mick Jones, Paul Simonon e Topper Headon. La band divenne rapidamente un simbolo del movimento punk, mescolando energia punk, reggae, ska e rockabilly in un sound unico e rivoluzionario. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
