Corb Lund est un auteur-compositeur et musicien canadien connu pour son mélange unique de musique country, folk et rock avec des influences occidentales. Né en Alberta en 1965, Lund a commencé sa carrière musicale dans les années 1980 en jouant dans des groupes locaux. En 1994, il a sorti son premier album, "The Engine Driver", suivi d'une série d'albums à succès tels que "Hair in My Eyes Like a Highland Steer" (2003) et "Horse Soldier! Horse Soldier!" (2007). Lund est réputé pour ses chansons narratives qui racontent des histoires de la vie quotidienne, des cowboys et des personnages de l'Ouest américain. Il a collaboré avec des artistes comme The Sadies et a remporté de nombreux prix musicaux, dont le Canadian Country Music Award du meilleur album.
