Stan Rogers (1949-1983) è stato un cantautore canadese di grande talento e sensibilità. Nato a Halifax, Nuova Scozia, Rogers ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '70, conquistando rapidamente l'apprezzamento del pubblico con le sue canzoni folk che raccontavano storie di vita quotidiana, mariti e tradizioni canadesi. La sua voce calda e rassicurante, unita a una chitarra acustica dal suono inconfondibile, lo hanno reso uno dei cantautori più amati del Canada.
