I Village People sono un gruppo musicale statunitense formatosi a New York nel 1977. Il loro sound, caratterizzato da ritmi disco contagiosi e testi che celebravano la vita notturna e l'inclusione, li ha catapultati al successo internazionale negli anni '70 e '80. Il gruppo è composto da personaggi stereotipati, ognuno con un ruolo ben definito: il cowboy, il militare, il pompiere, il poliziotto, il cantautore e il motociclista.
