Cracker est un groupe de rock alternatif américain formé dans les années 1980. Le duo principal est composé du chanteur David Lowery et du guitariste Johnny Hickman, qui ont également collaboré avec d'autres artistes tels que Camper Van Beethoven et The Baseball Project. Leur album de début, *Kerosene Hat*, sorti en 1993, a atteint le statut de disque de platine grâce à des chansons comme "Low", "Euro-Trash Girl" et "Get Off This". Cracker est connu pour sa musique accrocheuse, avec des influences folk, country et rockabilly. Parmi leurs albums les plus acclamés figurent *Family Tree* (1996) et *Sunrise in the Land of Milk and Honey* (2003).

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
