Echo and the Bunnymen sono un gruppo musicale britannico di Liverpool formatosi nel 1978. Il nucleo originario era composto da Ian McCulloch (voce), Will Sergeant (chitarra) e Les Pattinson (basso). In seguito si unì il batterista Pete de Freitas. Il loro debutto discografico, *Crocodiles*, risale al 1980, seguito da *Heaven Up Here* nel 1981. Entrambe le opere ottennero un notevole successo di critica e contribuirono a consolidare la reputazione del gruppo all'interno della scena musicale indipendente britannica. Nel 1983 raggiunsero il Top Ten con il singolo *The Cutter*, estratto dall'album *Porcupine*. Quest'ultimo, che si posizionò al secondo posto nelle classifiche, fu seguito da altri singoli di successo come *Never Stop* e *The Killing Moon*, diventato un loro brano iconico. L'album *Ocean Rain* del 1984 è considerato uno dei loro capolavori, con influenze post-punk e atmosfere sinfoniche. Tra i brani più rappresentativi: *Lips Like Sugar*, *Bring on the Dancing Horses*, *The Killing Moon*.

Avec 7 albums à leur actif, le groupe est une source d'inspiration et de créativité au niveau mondial, au cours de ces 20 années il n'a cessé d'influencer le paysage musical et de créer des tendances.

Il sont 7, ils ont presque tous la vingtaine, ils aiment le post-rock et aussi expérimenter différents sons. Plus qu'un groupe, Black Country est une communauté.
J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
