Faouzia, pseudonimo di Faouzia Ouihya, è una cantautrice e musicista marocchina naturalizzata canadese. Nata a Rabat, in Marocco, nel 1998, si trasferisce in Canada all'età di sette anni. Inizia la sua carriera musicale nel 2015 pubblicando brani su YouTube che le permettono di guadagnare una folta fanbase online. Nel 2017, a soli 16 anni, vince l'International Songwriting Competition, la competizione annuale per autori musicali più importante al mondo.
