Jagged Edge est un groupe de R and B américain formé en 1997. Le groupe, originaire d'Atlanta, en Géorgie, est composé des frères jumeaux Brian Casey (connu sous le nom de Brasco) et Brandon Casey (Case Dinero), ainsi que Kyle Norman (Quick) et Richard Wingo (Wingo Dollar). Jagged Edge a connu le succès au début des années 2000 avec des tubes comme "Let's Get Married", "He Can't Love U" et "Where the Party At". Leur style musical est caractérisé par des mélodies accrocheuses, des paroles romantiques et une forte présence vocale. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
