I Beastie Boys sono un gruppo musicale statunitense formatosi nel 1979 a New York City. Inizialmente hardcore punk, il gruppo ha sperimentato con diversi generi musicali prima di affermarsi come pionieri dell'hip-hop negli anni '80. Il loro album di debutto, *Licensed to Ill* (1986), è stato un successo internazionale, raggiungendo la vetta delle classifiche americane e contribuendo a diffondere l'hip-hop mainstream. I Beastie Boys sono noti per il loro stile musicale innovativo, le performance energiche e i testi spesso ironici e provocatori. Tra i brani più rappresentativi: *Fight for Your Right*, *Intergalactic*, *No Sleep Till Brooklyn*. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
