A Flock of Seagulls è una band new wave/new romantic synth-pop formatasi a Liverpool negli anni '80. Fondata dai fratelli Mike (voce, tastiere) e Ali Score (batteria), il gruppo è diventato famoso per il suo album omonimo del 1982, considerato un concept album sull'alienazione, e per l'iconico taglio di capelli del frontman Mike Score, che ha influenzato la cultura pop. Il loro unico successo nella top ten, "I Ran (So Far Away)", è diventato un inno degli anni '80. Altri successi includono "The More You Live, The More You Love" e "Wishing (If I Had a Photograph of You)".
