La Tom Robinson Band è stata una formazione rock britannica attiva tra la fine degli anni '70 e l'inizio degli anni '80. Fondata nel 1976 dal cantante, compositore e bassista Tom Robinson (nato a Cambridge il 1° giugno 1950), la band ha raggiunto un notevole successo grazie al suo sound energico e alle tematiche sociali affrontate nelle canzoni. Robinson, noto per il suo impegno politico e sociale, si è distinto come una voce controcorrente nel panorama musicale britannico dell'epoca. La Tom Robinson Band ha pubblicato diversi album di successo, tra cui "Tom Robinson Band" (1977) e "Power in the Hand" (1978), che hanno contribuito a definire il sound del punk rock progressivo. Tra i brani più celebri della band ricordiamo "Glad to Be Gay", una canzone che ha affrontato apertamente la tematica dell'omosessualità, e "War Baby", un inno contro la guerra. La Tom Robinson Band si è sciolta nel 1981, ma il suo lascito musicale continua ad essere apprezzato da appassionati di rock britannico.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
