David Justin Hayward, noto semplicemente come Justin Hayward, è un musicista britannico nato a Londra il 14 giugno 1946. È principalmente conosciuto come chitarrista e voce principale del gruppo progressive rock The Moody Blues. Hayward ha contribuito in modo significativo alla formula musicale della band, caratterizzata da arrangiamenti orchestrali, sintetizzatori e testi poetici. Tra i suoi brani più famosi figurano "Nights in White Satin", "Tuesday Afternoon" e "The Voice". Oltre al lavoro con The Moody Blues, Hayward ha intrapreso una carriera solista di successo, pubblicando numerosi album e collaborando con altri artisti come Mike Batt e John Lodge.
