Big and Rich est un duo de musique country américain formé en 2001 par Big Kenny et John Rich. Les deux artistes se sont rencontrés lors des sessions du MuzikMafia, un groupe de musiciens country qui visait à briser les conventions du genre. Le succès du duo est arrivé avec leur album d' estreia "Horse of a Different Color" (2004), qui comprenait le single "Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)", qui a atteint la première place des classements country. Big and Rich sont connus pour leur style énergique et leurs paroles ironiques, souvent avec une touche d'humour country. Parmi leurs chansons les plus célèbres figurent également "8th of November" et "Lost in This Moment". Le duo a sorti plusieurs albums à succès au fil des années, consolidant sa position dans le paysage musical country.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
