The Cardigans sono una band svedese formatasi a Jönköping nel 1992. Composta da Peter Svensson (chitarra, tastiere), Nina Persson (voce), Magnus Svengren (basso), e Bengt Lagerström (batteria), il gruppo ha raggiunto la fama internazionale negli anni '90 con un sound pop-rock caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili e testi introspettivi.
