Leftöver Crack est un groupe américain de hardcore punk formé à New York en 1999, issu du groupe Choking Victim. Le son du groupe se caractérise par un mélange de punk rock rapide et agressif avec des influences ska et reggae, souvent accompagné de paroles politiques et sociales abordant des thèmes tels que la lutte contre le capitalisme, l'oppression et la justice sociale. Parmi leurs chansons les plus représentatives figurent "The Ballad of Leftover Crack", "Burn It Down" et "American Nightmare". Leftöver Crack a collaboré avec de nombreux artistes du paysage punk underground, notamment The Misfits et Anti-Flag. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
