Slow Club è un duo indie folk britannico formatosi a Sheffield nel 2006. Il gruppo è composto da Charles Watson (voce, chitarra) e Rebecca Taylor (voce, tastiere). La loro musica è caratterizzata da melodie orecchiabili, testi introspettivi e arrangiamenti delicati che mescolano elementi di folk, pop e rock alternativo. Dopo aver pubblicato diversi EP indipendenti, hanno debuttato con l'album "Yes You Are" nel 2009, seguito da "Paradise" (2011) e "The Death of the Party" (2013). Il loro sound è stato definito come una combinazione di Belle and Sebastian e The Smiths, con influenze folk-rock. Tra i brani più noti del duo figurano "I'm Not Your Man", "You Are My Sunshine" e "The World Is Yours". Slow Club ha suonato in numerosi festival musicali e ha collaborato con artisti come The Maccabees e Laura Marling.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
