Denison Witmer è un cantautore indie originario di Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Il suo primo lavoro, pubblicato nel 1995, fu una cassetta intitolata "My Luck, My Love". Da allora ha rilasciato cinque album in studio; un album di cover (Recovered); due EP; e un LP con The River Bends - un progetto parallelo composto da membri della band alt-country di Philadelphia One Star Hotel.
