Nerf Herder è una band pop punk proveniente da Santa Barbara, California, formatasi nel 1994 da Parry Gripp (voce, chitarra), Charlie Dennis (basso) e Steve Sherlock (batteria). Si definiscono una «nerd rock» band, e sono noti per canzoni in stile punk moderno semplicistiche con testi spesso umoristici, infantili e che fanno riferimento alla cultura pop. Sono più noti per aver composto la sigla della serie televisiva Buffy l'ammazzavampiri e per il loro singolo del 1997 "Van Halen", un omaggio parodistico al gruppo omonimo, che ha ottenuto una significativa diffusione radiofonica e ha portato al loro primo contratto discografico importante con la Arista Records. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si possono citare "Buffy the Vampire Slayer Theme", "Van Halen", "The Ballad of the Nerf Herder" e "My Girlfriend's a Robot".

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
