The Go-Betweens sono stati un gruppo rock indie formatosi a Brisbane, Australia, nel 1977 dai cantautori e chitarristi Robert Forster e Grant McLennan. Nel corso degli anni hanno collaborato con musicisti come Lindy Morrison (batteria), Robert Vickers (basso) e Amanda Brown (violino, oboe, chitarra e cori). Dopo una prima fase di attività che si è conclusa alla fine del 1989, Forster e McLennan hanno riunito il gruppo nel 2000 con una nuova formazione. La morte di McLennan per un attacco cardiaco nel 2006 ha portato allo scioglimento definitivo dei The Go-Betweens. Il loro sound è caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili, testi introspettivi e influenze provenienti dal post-punk e dalla musica folk australiana. Tra i brani più rappresentativi: "Cattle and Cane", "Streets of Your Town" e "Lee Remick".

Il sont 7, ils ont presque tous la vingtaine, ils aiment le post-rock et aussi expérimenter différents sons. Plus qu'un groupe, Black Country est une communauté.
J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
