I Wilco sono una band americana di rock alternativo formatasi a Chicago nel 1994 da Jeff Tweedy, ex membro degli Uncle Tupelo. Tweedy ha riunito un gruppo di musicisti talentuosi per creare un suono unico che fonde elementi di country, folk, psichedelia e indie rock. Il loro primo album, *A.M.*, è stato un successo critico nel 1995, seguito da altri album importanti come *Being There* (1996), *Summerteeth* (1999) e *Yankee Hotel Foxtrot* (2002). Quest'ultimo, considerato uno dei migliori album del nuovo millennio, ha consacrato i Wilco come una delle band più influenti della scena musicale americana. Nel corso degli anni, la formazione è cambiata diverse volte, ma Tweedy rimane il fulcro creativo del gruppo.
