Less Than Jake è una band ska punk statunitense formatasi a Gainesville, in Florida, nel 1992. Inizialmente un trio power pop, hanno evoluto le loro sonorità in un ibrido di third wave of ska e punk rock, incorporando elementi di rock moderno e persino metal. La formazione attuale comprende Chris Demakes (chitarra, voce), Roger Manganelli (basso, voce), Matt Yonker (batteria), Buddy Schaub (tromba) e Peter "JR" Wasilewski (sassofono). Nel corso della loro carriera hanno pubblicato otto album in studio ed altrettanti singoli, oltre a partecipare a numerose compilation. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano «All My Best Friends Are Metalheads», «The Science of Selling Yourself Short» e «Automatic». L'album di debutto, *Pezcore*, ha segnato l'inizio del loro successo nel panorama ska punk.
