Showbiz and A.G. sont un duo de hip hop américain originaire du Bronx, New York City. Actifs depuis la fin des années 1980, ils ont contribué à définir le son hardcore de cette époque avec des rimes agressives et des rythmes lourds. Le duo est composé de Showbiz, producteur connu pour ses samples innovants, et A.G., rappeur avec un style direct et incisif. Parmi leurs chansons les plus représentatives figurent "The Bomb", "Hit 'Em Up" et "Brooklyn's Finest". Au fil des ans, ils ont collaboré avec des artistes comme Nas, Mobb Deep et Wu-Tang Clan, consolidant leur position dans la scène hip hop underground.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
