Laura Mvula, all'anagrafe Laura Douglas, è una cantautrice e musicista britannica nata a Birmingham nel 1983. La sua musica fonde elementi di soul, jazz, gospel e classica, creando un sound ricco e originale. Dopo aver studiato canto al Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale pubblicando il suo primo album, "Sing to the Moon", nel 2013.
