I've never been to America
and its time that i learned the truth, the truth
I've just heard of a rumor
your culture spreads and then it pollutes
Please try no to take it personal
I'm only going on the blatant truth
so while I'm breathing your air
do you believe your changing the earth
believe your changing the earth
Welcome to America
They all say, your dreams cant last forever
but your heart can never stay
do we imitate all we love to hate
so if there is one thing i wanna know
is how you feel about being American
Every time there's a story
Turn around your turning into John Wayne
Your turning into John Wayne
Now heres a grey Scottish theory
Have you lost your latitude and longitude?
Your latitude and longitude?
I know that I'm contradictive
Everything i own was made in the us of a
made in the USA
so while I'm breathing your air
do you believe your changing the earth
believe your changing the earth
Welcome to America
They all say, your dreams cant last forever
but your heart can never stay
do we imitate all we love to hate
so if there is one thing i wanna know
is how you feel about being American, American
Your turning into John Wayne
You made in the USA
Welcome to America
They all say, your dreams cant last forever
but your heart can never stay
do we imitate all we love to hate
so if there is one thing i wanna know
is how you feel about being American
