The Subways sono un gruppo rock alternativo inglese formatosi a Londra nel 2002. Il loro sound è caratterizzato da riff energici, melodie orecchiabili e testi diretti che affrontano temi come l'amore, la giovinezza e la ricerca di identità. Il loro album di debutto, *Young For Eternity*, uscito nel 2005, ha riscosso un discreto successo in Regno Unito e Stati Uniti, raggiungendo la certificazione d'oro per le vendite.
