Elvis Costello, nom d'artiste de Declan Patrick MacManus (Londres, 25 août 1954), est un auteur-compositeur-interprète, guitariste et compositeur britannique considéré comme l'un des artistes de pop-rock les plus influents des dernières décennies. Il a commencé sa carrière dans les années 1970 en tant que membre de la scène pub rock londonienne, avant que son nom ne soit associé aux mouvements punk et new wave de la fin des années 1970. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
