Master P, né Percy Robert Miller, est un rappeur, entrepreneur, producteur discographique et acteur américain né à New Orleans en 1967. Considéré comme l'un des pionniers du rap du Sud, Master P a connu le succès dans les années 1990 avec son propre label, No Limit Records. Sa musique, caractérisée par des paroles directes et des rythmes agressifs, a contribué à diffuser la culture hip-hop dans le sud des États-Unis. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
