Master P, né Percy Robert Miller, est un rappeur, entrepreneur, producteur discographique et acteur américain né à New Orleans en 1967. Considéré comme l'un des pionniers du rap du Sud, Master P a connu le succès dans les années 1990 avec son propre label, No Limit Records. Sa musique, caractérisée par des paroles directes et des rythmes agressifs, a contribué à diffuser la culture hip-hop dans le sud des États-Unis. En plus de la musique, Master P s'est également lancé dans plusieurs entreprises, notamment la production cinématographique et l'importation d'aliments. Parmi ses chansons les plus célèbres figurent "Ice Cream Man", "Make 'Em Say Uhh!" et "I Got 5 on It".

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
Le film très critiqué «Musique» de Sia qui voit son début en tant que réalisatrice vient d'être nominé comme meilleur film au Golden Globe 2021. L'actrice principale Kate Hudson a été nominée dans la catégorie Meilleure actrice.
