Gloryhammer est un groupe de power metal britannique-suisse formé en 2013. Le projet a été conçu par Christopher Bowes, claviériste et chanteur d'Alestorm, qui a imaginé un groupe avec un concept épique et fantastique. Bowes assume le rôle de compositeur principal et de chanteur, tandis que les membres du groupe adoptent des pseudonymes et des costumes pour interpréter des personnages dans une histoire située à travers différentes époques et lieux. Les albums de Gloryhammer sont comme des chapitres d'une œuvre narrative complexe, riche en références à la mythologie, au fantasy et à la science-fiction. La musique est caractérisée par des riffs rapides, des mélodies accrocheuses et des paroles qui racontent des aventures épiques, souvent avec une touche d'humour. Parmi les morceaux les plus représentatifs figurent "Angus McFife", "The Unicorn Invasion of Dundee" et "Master of the Universe". Leur album de début "Tales from the Kingdom of Fife" (2013) a marqué le début d'un parcours musical original apprécié par une base de fans grandissante.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
