Black Stone Cherry est un groupe de southern rock formé le 4 juin 2001 à Edmonton, Kentucky, États-Unis. Actuellement signé chez Roadrunner Records, le groupe se compose de Chris Robertson (chant et guitare), Ben Wells (guitare et chœurs), Jon Lawhon (basse et chœurs) et John Fred Young (batterie et chœurs), fils du guitariste rythmique des Kentucky Headhunters, Richard Young. Black Stone Cherry a sorti deux albums studio et trois EPs, atteignant les classements U.S. Mainstream Rock Tracks avec cinq singles.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
