Social Club Misfits est un duo de hip-hop chrétien originaire de Miami, en Floride. Composé des rappeurs FERN et Marty Mar, le groupe a commencé sa collaboration musicale en 2011. En 2012, ils ont sorti leur premier album gratuit intitulé simplement «Misfits». En 2016, ils ont changé leur nom en Social Club Misfits. Leur musique se caractérise par des paroles spirituelles et un son énergique qui fusionne des éléments du hip-hop traditionnel avec des influences contemporaines. Parmi leurs chansons les plus représentatives, on peut citer «The Anthem», «God's Plan» et «We Are The Misfits». Social Club Misfits ont gagné en popularité grâce à leur présence en ligne et à leurs tournées mondiales, devenant un point de référence pour la scène du hip-hop chrétien.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
