Dead Letter Circus est un groupe musical australien formé en 2003 à Brisbane. Leur son se caractérise par une fusion de metal progressif, de rock alternatif et d'éléments électroniques. Considérés comme l'un des groupes les plus importants du paysage metal australien, ils ont sorti cinq albums studio : *Dead Letter Circus* (2006), *The Catalyst* (2010), *This Is the New Sound* (2013), *Ritual* (2017) et *The Darker Side of Light* (2021). Parmi leurs chansons les plus connues figurent "The Offering", "Into The Wild", "Blackout" et "The Great Divide".

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
