Fear Factory est un groupe américain de heavy metal formé à Los Angeles en 1989 par Dino Cazares (guitare) et Raymond Herrera (batterie). Leur son, caractérisé par un mélange de métal progressif, death metal et métal industriel, s'inspire d'artistes comme Napalm Death et Godflesh. Au cours de leur carrière, ils ont sorti de nombreux albums à succès, notamment "Soul of a New Machine" (1995), "Obsolete" (1998) et "Demanufacture" (1997).
