Axel Rudi Pell est un guitariste et compositeur allemand de heavy metal, né à Düsseldorf en 1960. Il commence sa carrière musicale dans les années 1980 avec plusieurs groupes locaux avant de former son groupe éponyme en 1989. Axel Rudi Pell se distingue par son style de guitare virtuose et mélodique, influencé par des artistes comme Ritchie Blackmore et Yngwie Malmsteen. Son son est caractérisé par des riffs lourds, des mélodies accrocheuses et une atmosphère épique. Parmi les morceaux les plus représentatifs d'Axel Rudi Pell figurent "The Time Machine", "Lady of the Lake" et "Into the Night". Au cours de sa carrière, il a publié plus de 20 albums studio, collaborant avec plusieurs musiciens importants du paysage metal international. Le groupe a connu un grand succès en Europe, notamment aux Pays-Bas, en Allemagne et en Scandinavie.
