Juvenile, de son vrai nom Terius Gray, est un rappeur américain né à New Orleans, Louisiane, le 20 novembre 1974. Considéré comme l'un des pionniers du crunk, genre musical qui a dominé la scène hip-hop dans les années 1990 et 2000, Juvenile a atteint son apogée de popularité avec l'album *400 Degreez* (1998), qui comprend le tube *Back That Thang Up*. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
