Yeah, I been thinkin' 'bout Lemmy
And it's gettin' kinda heavy
Raised a shot to Doc Neeson
Never be a better reason
Some days I feel like doing nothing
So I learn to play Eruption
Man, I'm missin' all my heroes
Get me a ticket to the show
Send me to rock 'n' roll heaven
I know they got one hell of a band
We send them when they're twenty-seven
It's no wonder all the angels are fans
All the roadies are up there with them
John Bonham on drums, he can hit 'em
Send me to rock 'n' roll heaven
I know they got one hell of a band
They play rock 'n' roll
Rock 'n' roll
For one hell of a band
When I'm playin', I can feel 'emWhen Bon sings it, I believe him
All the angels are cheerin'
In the wind, you can hear 'em
Rippin' licks like Little Richard
Picture this last dinner
Man, I'm missin' all my heroes
Get me a ticket to the show
Send me to rock 'n' roll heaven
I know they got one hell of a band
We send them when they're twenty-seven
It's no wonder all the angels are fans
Eddie's smokin' while he's riffin'
And Malcolm's got the rhythm
Send me to rock 'n' roll heaven
I know they got one hell of a band
They play rock 'n' roll
Rock 'n' roll, yeah
John Bonham, drummer with the British rock group Led Zeppelin was found dead today
Thirty-year-old Bon Scott was discovered by a friend who had left him in a car hours earlier
Doc Neeson, the larger-than-life frontman of rock band The Angels has died
Malcolm Young, co-founder and guitarist of the Australian rock band AC/DC has died
Breaking news, uh, Ozzy Osbourne has died
Van Halen co-founder Eddie Van Halen died
Send me to rock 'n' roll heaven
I know they got one hell of a band
Why are they always twenty-seven?
It's no wonder all the angels are fans
They play rock 'n' roll
Rock 'n' roll
For one hell of a band
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
Hey, up there
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
Stack the amps twelve miles high
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
Crank it louder than the sky
Send me to rock 'n' roll heaven
I know they got one hell of a band
We send them when they're twenty-seven
It's no wonder all the angels are fans
Lemmy knew they'd live forever
All the poets and Bon brought 'em together
Send me to rock 'n' roll heaven
I know they got one hell of a band
They play rock 'n' roll
Rock 'n' roll
They play rock 'n' roll
Rock 'n' roll
For one hell of a band
Rock in peace, Ozzy
