Skepta, de son vrai nom Joseph Junior Adenuga, est un rappeur britannique d'origine nigériane né à Londres en 1982. Considéré comme l'un des pionniers du grime britannique, il a contribué de manière significative à la diffusion et à l'évolution de ce genre musical. Sa musique explore souvent des thèmes sociaux tels que la vie dans les banlieues londoniennes, l'identité et les défis de la communauté noire. Skepta est connu pour son flow agressif, ses paroles incisives et ses productions innovantes. Il a collaboré avec des artistes internationaux comme Drake, A$AP Rocky et Pharrell Williams. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
