Assembly of Dust è un gruppo rock formatosi nel 2002 dal cantante e chitarrista Reid Genauer, ex frontman di Strangefolk. Genauer ha dato vita al progetto durante il suo percorso di studi presso il programma MBA di Cornell University. La band si è esibita in festival di grande rilievo come Bonnaroo, Langerado, 10KLF, Wakarusa, All Good Music Festival, Gathering of the Vibes, Newport Folk Festival e Wakarusa Music and Camping Festival, oltre a numerose performance presso Wormtown Trading Co.
