Danger Doom est un duo de hip-hop britannique-américain formé en 2003 par la collaboration entre le producteur de disques et DJ Danger Mouse (né Daniel Dumile) et le rappeur MF DOOM (nom réel également Daniel Dumile). Leur style musical fusionne des éléments de jazz, funk, soul et beat noir, créant une atmosphère sombre et enveloppante. Leur album de début, *The Mouse and the Mask*, sorti en 2005, est considéré comme un classique du genre et a reçu un accueil critique favorable. L'album présente des titres emblématiques tels que "Rhymes Like Dimes", "Sofa King" et "Guv'nor". En 2006, ils ont sorti l'EP *Occult Hymn*, qui consolide davantage leur son distinctif. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
