Statik Selektah, de son vrai nom Patrick Baril, est un DJ, producteur de disques et animateur radio américain né à New York en 1980. Considéré comme l'un des piliers de la scène hip-hop underground américaine, Statik Selektah se distingue par son style de production caractérisé par des échantillons vintage et des rythmes old-school avec des influences jazz et funk. Sa carrière musicale a débuté dans les années 1990 en tant que DJ dans des clubs de New York, collaborant avec des artistes émergents du paysage hip-hop.
