R. Kelly, dont le vrai nom est Robert Sylvester Kelly, est un chanteur et producteur de disques américain né à Chicago en 1967. Connu pour son style musical qui fusionne R and B, soul et hip-hop, il a connu une grande popularité dans les années 1990 avec des albums comme "R. Kelly" (1992) et "Bump of the Century" (1998). Parmi ses succès les plus célèbres figurent "Ignition (Remix)", "I Believe I Can Fly" et "You Remind Me of Something". J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
