(Huh, huh, huh)
(Huh, huh, huh-uh-ah-ah)
(Huh, huh, huh)
(Huh, huh, huh-uh-ah-ah)
You should know by now
I keep you waiting
Mess you around like you're my plaything
Don't listen to a word you say
But still you take my call
I don't close my eyes when you kiss me
And you must know that I've been dreaming
About someone else when you're asleep
But still you take my call
(Ahhhhhh)
What do I have to do?
(Ahh-ahhhhhh)
To get my message through
(Ahh-ahhhhhh)
You really shouldn't let me just
Walk all over you
Don't let me be
Your midnight caller
You'll be holding on the line
Don't wanna be
Your midnight caller
You'll be wasting all your time
But when it's late and I'm all alone
I can't help myself
I pick up the phone
Don't let me be
Your midnight caller
You'll be holding on the line
(Huh, huh, huh)
(Huh, huh, huh-uh-ah-ah)
You keep ignoring all the warnings
But we both know that by the morning
I'll be long gone, you'll be alone
Until you take my call
Now what's this spell that you've been under
I thought by now you'd have my number
I was just stringing you along
So please don't take my call
(Ahhhhhh)
What do I have to do?
(Ahh-ahhhhhh)
To get my message through
(Ahh-ahhhhhh)
You really shouldn't let me just
Walk all over you
Don't let me be
Your midnight caller
You'll be holding on the line
Don't wanna be
Your midnight caller
You'll be wasting all your time
But when it's late and I'm all alone
I can't help myself
I pick up the phone
Don't let me be
Your midnight caller
You'll be holding on the line
Make it easy on yourself
(Easy, easy)
You know these things, they can't be helped
Would you make it easy on yourself?
(Easy, easy)
Next time I want to talk
Will I keep to myself?
Don't let me be
Your midnight caller
You'll be holding on the line
Don't wanna be
Your midnight caller
You'll be wasting all your time
But when it's late and I'm all alone
I can't help myself
I pick up the phone
Don't let me be
Your midnight caller
You'll be holding on the line
