Deer Tick è un gruppo musicale folk alternativo statunitense formatosi nel 2004 a Providence, Rhode Island. Il gruppo è noto per il suo sound crudo e autentico, influenzato da cantautori come Neil Young e Townes Van Zandt. Il loro stile musicale si caratterizza per melodie orecchiabili, testi introspettivi e un'atmosfera malinconica. Tra i membri fondatori ci sono John McCauley (voce, chitarra), Ian O'Neil (chitarra), Dennis Ryan (basso) e Robbie Crowell (batteria). J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
