Four Year Strong est un groupe américain de melodic hardcore originaire de Worcester, Massachusetts. Formé en 2001, le groupe se compose de Dan O'Connor et Alan Day (vocales et guitares), Joe Weiss (basse), Josh Lyford (claviers et chœurs) et Jackson Massucco (batterie). Considéré comme l'un des piliers du mouvement emo-hardcore des années 2000, Four Year Strong se distingue par la combinaison de riffs énergiques, de mélodies accrocheuses et de paroles introspectives qui abordent des thèmes tels que l'adolescence, les relations et la recherche d'identité. Parmi leurs chansons les plus représentatives figurent "It Must Feel So Good to Be a Gangster", "Famous Last Words" et "The Latest Mistake". J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
